So, you can confirm the audio is a different source compared to Thank you all ?

And - if it is indeed a different audio source - could it maybe be taped by the same taper as those Wembley tapes also released by wardour?

I mean: the audio is absolutely the same as "Thank You All" but less damaged (I assume due to some replies in this thread).

And the video is the same as "Thank You All", but maybe merged with some other existent video recordings?

The sample on the japanese site is the same tape used for Thank You All.

2CD: if I understood correctly, this is the merge of several sources. "Thank You All" source is the main with some EQ fixes.
DVD: video - no difference to "Thank You All", audio - seems like update (though I can't tell exactly, because I don't have "Thank You All" bootleg anymore).

ohhh wow so it turns out we'd been tricked :( oh man everyone was getting so excited about it as well hahah, the audio would be nice if someone could upload it!

So sad it ends... as it began...
Now we just have to wait for the audio to finally emerge at this point.

The only chance we have to see a brand new video and audio version of Knebworth would be next year on its 30th anniversary. I hope QPL decide to work on knebworth and hyde park next year, although i read here that they are slowly working on Houston and Hyde Park for next year

I really hope they do! And if they do I hope it will sound much better than Wembley or The Bowl and sound more like Budapest and Montreal or even the first night of Wembley

To me, the Hungarian Rhapsody release sounds rather bland, even compared to Milton Keynes or Wembley.
I still think Rock Montreal has the best live mix QP has ever put out (to this date).

Rock Montreal had incredibly good miking overall, and on the drums in particular.
