Imagine Brian playing all those solos in a medley at the olympics...

Days of Our Lives is by far the most emotional and one of the best.

In terms of catchy/awesomeness I'd say Ride the Wild Wind or You Don't Fool Me.

Of his solo work, I'd say Resurrection has some amazing guitar bits although too many to single one out.

White Queen live.

I also agree with Biggus Dickus on It's a Hard Life and Back Chat live.

IMHO there is only a few that are "not so good". In most of the Queen songs Brian's solos are my favorite parts of the song. If I make list of favorites there will be at least 30- 40 songs I have to write. Brian was a great composer and musician and his Red Special has always lifted Queen songs to upper levels. Just to name a few here are some of the solos I like a lot:

The Millionare Waltz
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Killer Queen
Innuendo
I Can't Live With You
Ride The Wild Wind
Love Of My Life
Who Wants To Live Forever
Bohemian Rhapsody
Hammer To Fall (both live and single versions)
It's A Hard Life
You Don't Fool Me
Heaven For Everyone
I Was Born To Love You
I want It All
Scandal
My Life Has Been Saved
Delilah
I'm Going Slightly Mad....

and so on.....

"His red special has always lifted Queen songs to upper levels". Spot on there. It's the golden thread running through, sometimes subliminally.

Ride The Wild Wind
You Don't Fool Me
It's Late
Millionaire Waltz

I could blast those over and over again. Brian was/is pure genius.

Rain Must Fall, an underrated solo that should have lasted so much more. I wonder how much of it exists in the masters. Pure genuis Brian May.
Please will you direct me in the right way?
