As a teenager I used to be crazy about Celine Dion and Garou, and this bloke managed both (he also married Celine).

A sad week indeed.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

I don't know about you guys, but I find it kinda creepy that the guy managed her since she was 12, and he was a married 38 year old guy, and then they started a relationship when she was 19 and he was 45.

I don't really care lol - age is just a number. If they loved each other, and it was all legal and above board (I mean that she wasn't under age), what does the age gap matter?

I guess not that much compared to the Ted Nugent thing.

Which means she spent 28 years being an adult woman very much in love and she's recently lost the love of her life (and her brother as well, a couple of days apart). Really sad indeed.

Meh, they were consenting adults. There are a lot worse things in this world.

Indeed it is unusual, but I don't see much point in passing judgement on people who were clearly happy for much of their lives together.

Ever since i was a teenager i thought that René Angélil was a very lucky man. If there is something like "soulmates" then Celine and Rene are it. The way she talked about him, always with tears in her eyes - true love!
Of course Celine was also very lucky to have him, because he seemed like a genuinely good person.

It was one of those things that everyone knew was going to happen because of the age gap, but it´s still hard to imagine one without the other. Celine is going through some hard times right now and i wish she´ll find the peace and hapiness she deserves.
