Almost nice work, it's too blurry. The only chance to watch it in better quality is to get better copy. I hope that master tape isn't as dark.
was there some colour correction done on this? Freddie's pants don't look overly magenta now

@dearfour en la Biblioteca Nacional, en Caracas. al final de la avenida Panteón. la última vez que tuve acceso a ese material me dijeron que iba a restauración (el U-matic) por lo que no sé si ya está disponible. en todo caso, se consigue en DVD bootleg por allí (yo lo tengo). puedes verlo completo en youtube buscando "Queen Live In Caracas 1981" Saludos?
La grabación no fue casera. Lo que pasa es que era solamente una prueba de cámaras, porque los espectáculos que quedarían grabados bien fueron luego suspendidos. Si fuera un material casero, no habría cortes, no habría varias cámaras, ni los encuadres fueran tan estáticos sin pulso. Esta grabación en video se consigue en DVD a pesar de su baja calidad y proviene de un original que está archivado en la Biblioteca Nacional, originalmente en formato U-Matic (lo he visto). saludos.?

Basicly, the Caracas concert shooting was made for testing purposes (testing the camera, the lights, and on). The shows that were going to be recorded, were cancelled due to the death of their dictator (as far as I remember).
The footage we all can see, is being stored in the Caracas National Library (and that's the source). Last time that that user had access to those U-matic tapes, (dearfour) was told that it was going to be restored.

Snow productions version better for colours and definition, but this doesn't have the mpeg2 artefacting.

diego alejandro, remember that all those videos that Snow is selling were taken from Internet downloads (excepting some TV footage recorded by him, and concerts recorded by him).
Those were, some time ago (maybe years), available on Internet in some web pages. So, if we don't have 'em, it's because somebody here is keeping them.
