Very interesting to read, Sorry if it has been posted before (probably has).

Found a picture of Freddie and Elton John together on piano with full stage outfits, when and what was that about?

Fred guested on an Elton concert back in '82 and they sang some Beatle covers (and perhaps a Top Notes cover as well).
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

What I would give to witness Freddie and Elton sing Beatles covers.

I don't think Elton was taped much.

I think it was in Manchester, oddly enough.

Interesting that he says Fred told him he had Aids in 87, I wonder if he actually had told the band at that point?

He didn't. I'm not sure exactly when he told the band. As far as I remember Freestone and Hutton tell in their books that he told the band around mid-1989 or mid-1990 judging by the timeline of each book. I don't remember who said which year. My guess is that it was after the recordings of The Miracle but before they started recording Innuendo.

Freddie appeared during the 2nd Manchester show. A recording of the 1st show exists, and is on Greg's channel.
Plenty of Elton John shows were taped

Because people can`t seperate AIDS and HIV properly, especially back in the days.
Talking about the Band, he first contacted Jim Beach because of that matter. Brian May confirmed in a MOJO Interview that the Band learned around 87/88 in Montreux that Freddie had AIDS.
His "unclear" HIV status, before that KS-Biopsy in early 87`, is a different thing.

This one might be too but there is no sign of it in the EJ trading circles yet. Elton is a class act, a true legend and he was a great friend to Freddie.
Arse.

Well, Freddie obviously told QUEEN before "The Miracle" because most things about that project are about Fed preparing and hinting that his end was near...no secret there. Of course I none of this was realized by the public until "Made In Heaven" came out in 1995
