I bought COTW on its release day and I'm convinced it had Brian's intro, although I dont remember that dodgy synching. I lost (misplaced) my original copy and bought it again around '98, I remember instantly noticing the missing intro. I borrowed another copy from my friend who bought his copy standing next to me in the queue (Our Price. Sunderland, England) in '95 and the intro was also there.
I'm gonna try and check tomorrow in case I'm going round the bend

Neither my Laserdisc or VHS copy of COTW (UK PAL editions) contain the guitar intro. They both contain the same very short clip, here it is.
Here's a transfer of a PAL VHS of COTW which contains the same short clip as above.

Thank you everyone for this list. Someday I will watch them all!
Perhaps you could add 'From Rags To Rhapsody' 2015 and 'The Freddie Mercury Story - Who Wants To Live Forever?' 2016 :)

I recall seeing the 'Queen Phenomenon' edition in a record store in Carnaby Street back in 1995/96 ish... it was on VHS in a hard case, with a custom red sleeve with title info etc.. - it was official, and most likely a TV station promo edition. I didn't buy it....what a prick!!

Ok, it's now been updated. The new documentaries are in a post below the original as I have run out of space it seems! :(

Was there also a documentary called Was It All Worth It? Maybe worth adding or maybe you already have and i may have overlooked it.

Thank you to everyone involved in sharing links.
Does the documentary from 1991 with Axl hosting exist in better audio quality?

Add one more to the list:
"Hitlatens Historia" - it's a series on SVT in Sweden, and a couple weeks back they did an episode on We Will Rock You.

Added those documentaries above and added and found new and better quality sources for others! Anything else I'm missing? :)

Here's one from 1984 not on the list, called "They Will Rock You". Pittrek did this edit of it a few years back (I guess to remove the official videos?).
