This is a recording of a soundcheck from the Another World tour. Amidst the usual treachery of doing level checks is some fun here and there.

total length - 32:59

Thanks! Love the soundchecks! :D
You sit there and you thump your bible and you say your prayers, talk about John 3:16... Austin 3:16 says: I've just whipped you ass!! And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so!

A soundcheck with Brian is like watching a game replay to see maybe your losing favorite team will win this time.
Usually you will notice if someone is saving the voice for the gig, but now it's hard to tell. Probably because there is nothing to save.

There is a remarkable Rush soundcheck in sbd quality, in fact a full show rehearsal before staring the tour. They are at their best when are not struggling to prove something in front of an audience, and finally overdoing it. As Brian does. Just saw the Milton Keynes interviews and i'm amazed (once again) of how a man of such artistic and human quality could appear so frustrated an boring.

^ this stuff? Or is there more?

Besides the full rehearsal from 1996, I mean. It has great moments, but you can so clearly hear how they don't want to play Closer To The Heart.

Turns out I got two things wrong.

1) it has been shared before:

http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1449785/1998-11-26-newcastle-soundcheck.aspx

and 2) it's actually from the Newcastle Australia show in November, not the UK in October.

Some great stuff in that thread.
