Planning their upcoming world tour Queen have pushed new boundaries by playing a one-off concert in Pyongyang in September. They are the first Western rock band ever to perform in the reclusive country. Brian May explained in a radio interview that it has always been the wish of the band to play to as many people in the world as possible. After the Rolling Stones already beat them to the first gig in Havanna, North Korea is the dream place for a record breaking band. Apparently Queen are already the "biggest thing" in North Korea and tickets are all but sold out.
I do not want any google ads here.

Ahem.

I know but I will not say it. ..I hope Psy jobs the group onstage. I think they'd work really well together. This COULD be what's needed to reunite a failed country

???!

*(I spelled Queen in Hangeul. But QZ doesn't recognize the characters)

I'd like to think YV was old enough NOT to partake in such childish pranks.
I know who you are YV and I say "Shame on you".... ;-)

The irony of course, is that most Queen records from Korea are effectively bootlegs. Perhaps if it were true, Jim Beach is hoping to sell some official releases! LOL

We need Flash Gordon to save us from the weird thinkers there :-)

Edit: YV also posted in the wrong forum - it should be in the Queen + AL section :-)

Brian promised me he would bring me an autographed propaganda poster in 2031 after his "15 year guitar solo".

Will John's 'Man In The Shadows' North Korean version finally be made available to the masses as well?
