Adam pledges allegiance

Adam Lambert, one-time American Idol participant, is fitting in with Queen, with whom he is touring again this summer, and has now pledged his allegiance to the cause by getting a Queen tattoo.

The singer, 34, has had the Queen crest, made famous on the cover of their ‘A Night at the Opera’ album tattooed on his right upper chest.

In London on Friday he commented ‘After the welcome the Queen fans have given me over the past few years I really feel part of the band and this is my pledge of allegiance’.

The forthcoming Queen and Adam Lambert tour starts in Lisbon on 20 May and takes in fifteen live dates in just over a month.

The crest was designed by original Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the 1970s.

Adam doesn't have the Queen crest on his chest but he DOES have a "Q" tattoo on his right arm in honor of the four years he has enjoyed touring with the Queen guys since 2012:
