No, it didn't. I directly lifted the audio stream from the VOB as I usually do.

What is the size of your vob file and did it contain an information txt screen at the beginning with transmission date etc?

And no, it's just as long as my MKV, I didn't cut anything.

Ok, that is obviously a different source as my file is 351MB.
Would you like me to rip the pcm audio from it?

You could post it here. And those who are willing, could perhaps mux the PCM to the MKV themselves (with the help of MKVToolNix GUI).
