A friend of mine recorded the documentary with a DirecTV receiver. Do you know any method to copy the video to my PC?

If the receiver has AV or scart output connect a dvd recorder.

I don't really think it's worth it. It looks like a QTV version with logo's blurred out!

Indeed, nothing really new ;-)

Yeah, as Kurgan stated above, it's just the QTV broadcast with the logo removed (see image below)
