Apologies if I missed it at the time, but just noticed the following on Brian's site....has there been an official QPL announcement of this?

"Autumn - ITV new documentary celebrating Freddie Mercury's 70th birthday and 25th anniversary of his death"

Nice, but I still wonder about the fact, that there are so much docus in the past about Freddie Mercury and nothing really new to tell... in sound and film. So we´ll see!

I agree there can't be that much more we've not seen now, I would like to see more of a focus on how influential Freddie has now become with interviews with famous fans, people like Lady GaGa, Adele, Katy Perry, Garth Brooks etc. I know those artist aren't to most people on here's taste but at least they are A list stars, just interview a few different people for a change, what not Metallica, Muse, Axl Rose, Dave Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Steven Tyler etc etc.

I would be happy if they totally avoided Paul Gambaccini and that awful Phoebe; I still can't fathom how he could babble on how Freddie was a "left dresser" and what he thought about Freddie's 'endowment'.

Are you really slamming 'Phoebe' for being dead honest, in the same vein as Freddie used to be?

There is a difference between dead honesty and one seeking noteriety.

Well someone mentioned a magazine where Brian said they're working on the BBC recordings. Working title being "Queen on Air". Not a bad idea, though I'm positive it'll take a bit longer for it to come out.

Maybe we'll also get The Solo Collection reissued though I'd love to hear a reworked Mr Bad Guy by Brian and Roger, this with original album remastered would be a great release.

Why do some people morph every thread into some fantasy release that wont happen?

Well I have heard there is an unreleased track on the anthologies that will never happen called 'rocknrolllover thinks he is all that'. Someone I don't know said it in an interview I have no link for 39 years ago. But I still can't wait for it to be released xxxx

Why would anyone be celebrating Freddie's death? Besides Daryl Hall I mean.

LOL.
You say that, but it feels like it's a greater possibility than releasing an archive boxset of unreleased recordings that they DON'T need to work on....
