Freddie Mercury - The Royal Ballet Performance 1979

Hey everyone, a while back I had a go at synchronising music to the video performance as there is no audio on the video. I just re-discovered this recently and thought I could have done better, I think I have anyway! :P

Also just a quick question, is this 8mm taped or videoed? I can't remember. :)

Boh Rhap: On the original video the audio was changing pitch and tempo constantly and that doesn't sound too good after a while, so I've fixed that by changing the speed of the video which isn't very (if) noticeable at all.

Crazy Little Thing: Not much has changed from the last attempt other than, general fix ups such as the syncing but one major update is the extra footage from the end with the dancers bowing. This was gotten from "The Great Pretender" documentary.

Just though I'd mention, if you wish to upload this to YouTube, you can but here's two conditions :) 1. Leave a link as to where you got it from, here will be fine! :) 2. Eagle Rock have blocked the Boh Rhap video completely so don't upload that or you may get a copyright strike :/

Youtube is still fucked. How can a video blocked in all countries be monetized? How can a video be claimed by more than 1 company? :-)

Don't be afraid, you're not the only one, I deal with this shit quite regularly. Can I ask you however how did you try to appeal the 3:20 - 3:55 segment?

Yeah I really don't understand that, apparently YouTube has fixed the Content ID system but whatever, I would never Monetize any Queen related videos! They aren't mine! :)

That was the first claim I got after I uploaded the video (I get these claims all the time when uploading clips from Rare Live, documentaries etc) so I just disputed it as I would and just a few days before the claim would be ignored they filed a counter dispute and got blocked again. Then I just didn't bother because I'll get a strike :S

That's also the old version I have uploaded to YouTube so don't worry about that.

Was watching the FM The Great Pretender doc again the other day and was ASTOUNDED at the really bad job done in trying to get some audio to accompany the footage - was THIS really the best job a professional outfit could do?
