bloody good show, the band were tight and fairly rust free, Roger looked fit and was drumming as good as i have seen him for a few years, Brian was on form and looking like the proud father, Adam was on fire his stage craft just gets better and better., A few things you could hear the keyboards doing the extra guitar parts and just didn't sound right in places, perhaps Jamie Moses needs a phone call and to join them again for the extra guitars, but all in all bloody good to see them all looking so good, roll on more conerts

Here's some video from the show:

It's kind of sad that people here aren't overly excited about the shows. About 15 years ago most of us would've killed to hear that Brian and Roger were playing together in any capacity, but I guess that's kind of worn off since they've played for much of the last decade, and with not much variation in the setlist - there are just two new songs this time.

I guess that for some it might be the lack of variation i the set list as suggested. Being part of a festival as opposed to an independent event might predetermine the set list to resembling a greatest hits. Play the game is a welcome addition. There are so many other songs that might have been performed that have been done before that would suit Adam's voice: White Queen, Death on Two Legs, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, It's Late. While there are those that were never done live that might have worked: Drowse, Dead on Time both come to mind. Oh well!

I understand those people. AL isn't right choice for Queen.
I've got the power to love to live I can't say it ain't right

I wonder why they played The Hero in E instead of A as they did in '80s.
I think they should have played The Hero in the original key as Adam could hit high notes in the song.

The other parts were great though they made few changes in the setlist.
If there were more adventure, I would be happy.
I hope they try something new more onward the tour.

Why not once again a totaly change, The Miracle, White Queen, Get Down Make Love, Headlong, Born To Love You, Slightly Mad would be fun

Roger brings The Red Special down to Brian - fuck me; not only has he had enough of people making a noise in Kensington, he's now got his own butler.......

In what context was the guitar "presented" to the grumpy, curly-haired activist?

No instrumental jam during CLTCL? First time that has happened for like 35 years. It was still a great concert though.

Great to see Play The Game making an appearance. Shame Adam sings it so over-the-top and campy - like he did with Lap Of The Gods as well :(

Iliked the ending on "Don stop me now"

Looks pretty good to me. They are playing some of these songs slower than they used to, it seems to make the songs feel like they have a bit less energy.

Yes, less energy and it seems that Adam's voice is softer than during previous tour. It's like.... he's okay and has range but his voice kinda feels "small". I hope you know what I mean. It's not that kind of power. I was very happy that they performed The Hero and Play The Game but it's really hard for me as these songs (even when performed on "weak" gigs back in the day) are intertwined with Freddie's powerful voice, too much listening to bootlegs I suppose.

I was there near the front row! What a great show! The crowd was amazing! Well done Brian! Almost perfect! He was very emotional indeed! I feel Roger is too old for this... Rufus had to play drums on Tie You Mother Down... I felt Adam was with less vocal range... Anyway, I loved the show! Nice track list! What a great intro!
