I've already searched the other mini May threads. This question never came up.

I'd like to ask the owners of MINI-MAY s.

"Because I cannot see the entire guitar in detail on web shots, I'd like to know if the guitar looks easily adjustable to be a left handed guitar (*by inverting the nut) or would a completely new nut have to be made?

I know the body doesn't lend itself to the shape exactly but it IS a double cutaway and I'm wondering so I could buy one and adjust it for my nephew (a lefty)

I recently found a left handed Burns on craigslist and bought it for when he's older. But my curiosity has lent me to play it backwards and upside down. It's clearly too big for his 7 year old hands

Any suggestions?

I understand the bridges have been modified on the newer runs but I'm just curious if it looks practical to be inverted

Interesting idea, I've seen people do some big alteration to them including a fully accurate mini may, dont see why you couldnt do a Lefty if you are skilled enough (dont own one but having looked at them I dont see why not

Interesting. The full three trisonics and phase switches? That'd be interesting. Working a trem on such a small body would be pretty crazy as well.

Any YouTube videos of these modd'ed Mini-Mays?

There was a guy a while back that did it and it looked really cool, I will see if I can find a pic
