Apparently, Brian asked a lot of people to join "Queen" as "the new Freddie". All real artists and musicians said no, leaving them with C-list celebrities as singers for their pathetic Queen+ bullsh1t.

John Deacon: "I've heard what they did and it's rubbish." "Freddie can never be replaced." Brian May & Roger Taylor - ruining Queen's legacy since 1998.

Can you imagine Zucchero singing Another One Bites the Dust or Crazy Little Thing?

I think, it's just him trying to get more attention to himself. I don't quite believe it.

More Lambert bashing? Don't you ever get tired? If it's bullshit then ignore it. They can do whatever the hell they like with the Queen name. You people have made it already sufficiently clear that you don't like Lambert.

Lambert bashing ? -yes . Cos the legacy., being fans for 42 years, is part ours as well, that's what I believe, supporting them , through thick and thin, we helped put them where they are and don't want to see any dumbing down.
Must stress; nothing personal against Adam, he's merely taking opportunities that come his way.

I'm definitely in Team JD when it comes to Queen's 'legacy'.

It's a minor quote, but is it SUBSTANTIATED/CONFIRMED??

That'd be like bringing in Bruce Dickinson to Earth, Wind & Fire
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"

He sounded like he was struggling with constipation when singing Las Palabras at the tribute gig. Cannot imagine even Brian stooping that low to offer him a more permanent position.

"Don't touch me now
Don't hold me now
Don't break the spell, darling
Now you are near
Look in my eyes and speak to me
The special promises I long to hear"

A whole new meaning to the song.
