Don't look now, but Pink Floyd's releasing a box set of the pre-Dark Side albums, and from what i'm read, it makes Queen's Bonus EPs or even their own Immersion box sets look even smaller, like 27 discs worth of audio-visual treats, with a $700 tag. The tracklisting isn't announced yet, but holy crap it looks promising.

Just wanna mention it because I was reminded of this thread while looking at the contents it promised.

^Just read the entire thing, and I am completely overwhelmed with the amount of material. I reckon no one can top this... at least until Floyd would do another box set covering "The Classic" era if ever it's in the cards for them.
I hate the loudness wars. I recently decided to buy all the original first UK pressings of Queen albums in as best condition I can find them (that being 'Mint'). They sound a hell of a lot better than recent remasters.
