I heard this 1969 song by Nick Drake recently and parts of it reminded me of "In the Lap of the Gods...Revisited", especially the initial guitar chords.

Given that Drake was relatively unknown until after his death in 1974, I can't imagine Freddie would have heard of him/seen him live to be influenced (although he did perform live in London in the late 60's). Any thoughts/criticism/comments welcomed :)

The only thing I can hear that is similar is the chord progression in the verses. Its a bit similar to the intro Freddie played live. But the song as a whole is nothing like ITLOFG.
Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs
