If you are 20+ years old and you 'play' this game you are a massive cunt.

I had never downloaded any mobile/tablet game in all my life. Yesterday I downloaded Pokemon Go, but I can't figure out the point of it. Are you supposed to just throw this ball to hit those little creatures and walk around looking for more creatures? WTF? Played it once and haven't opened it again...

^Exactly. It's basically like the Pokemon games from the Game Boy, but we'll have to literally move our asses around to catch a Pokemon, like if you want to find a Ghost-type Pokemon for example, you'd go to places like a cemetery (or a funeral)
While this may be the greatest thing for most people in my generation. It's all bollocks. It's all just a fad anyway, give it half a year, and it'll lose its appeal. 'til then, It's always interesting to read the stupid things people would do with Pokemon Go.

It's basically geocaching for lazy people.
You think you've found something, but you've found something in a game.
I'll pass on this fad, the same way I've passed on every fad that's ever come along since I was 8.

I got laid off from my old job and consequently moved back with family to a offshoot of a main town. Well, the MAIN town is not the nicest kindest happiest place. in fact it's full of corruption
Lately I've been seeing people who have NO REASON being in "this part of town" hanging around there. It's ridiculous.
people totally CAVING into manipulation. told where to go, what to do, and practically being driven to destinations.
It's an extremely novel and fun idea, but in reality it just shows how gullible and ridiculous society is.
people are putting themselves at risk. they also tend to look really REALLY stupid while doing it
I've also seen that these pokemon goers are disturbing ordinary people's businesses and even cemeteries

Lots of grumpy fuckers on Queenzone. I am currently trapped down a well after chasing a Pokemon down here, but I don't regret it at all. I may be here for a while but I will eat the Pokemon if I get hungry.

Grumpy fuckers indeed ... Probably all conservative fuckers that watch Fox news.
I guess my oldest son is a massive cunt, as he is 20 years old ...
My 18 and 20 year old sons have been out playing for the past several hours (presumably in downtown Batavia).
I think it is great. It gets them out of the house, away from their computers and videogame consoles. It gets them exercising (walking several kilometers each day) and socializing with real people face to face.
I was at a high school graduation party for my nephew yesterday, and all the teens and young adults (both male and female) were gushing about Pokemon Go.
I am not sure why there is such negativity about this game ... but people should shut the fuck up about things they do not understand, and let the kids have their harmless fun.
Now ... Get off my lawn you fuckheads.

So I, with my 16 years, don't understand it. It was done just to move the people out of their fucking chair, but in the wrong way.
In South America, if we are willing to play the game, before obtaining a cute Pikachu somebody will steal the shit out of any of us. The same happens in Europe, North America, Asia, etc. More or less frequently, but it will become more common over time (given economies, people knowing this fashion, etc.). Also, it's new technology that'll distract you from what's really important: work, school, what they'll love to work after school (what they want to become), your dreams and how to accomplish them, etc.
Of course, who's to blame its the kid, the parent or both instead of the game. But we don't need more problems than we already have. So, I'm no conservative bollock nor a grumpy fucker or a fuckhead, whatever that tried to mean.
Greetings, and have fun complaining about my comment or answering me.

Not interested in this game, i don't love it or hate it, is just not my thing.
But my two cents, outside the "work" and "school" is where the good things in life are. Those two are necessary, but that's it. Learning new things is fantastic, but new things you have an interest in, not some program created by politicians and taught to you by an employee.
If someone says that work is the most important thing in life, this individual is either very narrow minded or dangerous to you, or both.

About 95% of the people in Canada, the US, UK and Australia would disagree with you. Work is all we're told to value while we're growing up. Get your degree, get a job, buy a house, get married and have kids. Unless you had really progressive or artistic parents, that's what we were told life is all about.
But you're from Spain. You were brought up with a completely different worldview. And it's so refreshing.
This is why Spain is one of my favourite countries in the world. The people just aren't preoccupied with acquiring material things.

Isn't there some kind of irony in the fact that the only way to get some kids away from their video games is via another video game?
Indeed, at least they're out there walking. But the value of simply taking a walk for its own sake has been almost completely lost on far too many kids nowadays.

Why can't you quote the whole thing? "Also, it's new technology that'll distract you from what's really important: work, school, what they'll love to work after school (what they want to become), their dreams and how to accomplish them, etc." Without this last part, it's a different thing.
My priority it's to do what you want, but those factors are things that can't be taken out of mind, and in consequence they are really important.
By the way, this is the kind of things Sebastian likes to do that I don't like (quoting small parts, changing the meaning of the comment), but I won't enter in that discussion.

Average user age is 31. What's the problem with adults spending their free time on (relatively) fresh air moving?

According to social conservatives like Fox News, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Tipper Gore, video games are evil and should be censored:
