Always like the cover of WWRY made by Warrant. Is not a "copy-paste", they tried to make something of their own, and the final product is very listenable.

I liked Stormwind's cover of White Man. I always thought the original version is the closest Queen got to metal, and this cover really did it justice for me.

That "all stars featuring John Bush on vocals" : It's Late
NIN. - Get Down, Make Love (some people don't even like the original; inspired by Zep's Whole Lotta Love breakdown)
(Solo Acoustic) YouTube User "TroubleClef" : Love Of My Life
Best QUEEN cover: Jailhouse Rock/Elvis Presley
Best "QUEEN" cover: Fire and Water/FREE

I always regarded "Spread Your Wings" by Blind Guardian as the best ever Queen cover.

California Guitar Trio doing 'Bo Rhap.'
Also, Nuno and Gary doing 'Love of My Life', a nice arrangement which was a bit Queen-influenced (getting some bits from Queen's live version and some bits from Queen's studio version) but also unmistakably theirs.

I love what Trent Reznor did with GDML.
Another cover worth mentioning is Stone Cold Crazy by Metallica. I sounds like Metallica rather than Metallica covering something they haven't written.
I agree with the best Queen cover. Covering Free, but I also think that the PR fronted Queen could have played a brilliant Bad Co show!!

Do you mean a different artist doing a Queen song, or Queen doing someone else's song? If the latter, yeah, they didn't release covers as singles (though 'Too Much Love' is a bit of a grey area, as is 'I Was Born to Love You').
If the former - yes, McFly were No 1 in Britain with their cover of 'Don't Stop Me Now', almost exactly 10 years ago (I think it reached the top spot on the 23rd of July 2006).
And then again there were covers featuring Maylor, such as 'We Will Rock You' by 5ive and 'Somebody to Love' by George Michael (with Brian, John, Roger, Mike Moran, Spike Edney, Maggie Ryder, Miriam Sockley, Chris Thompson and a bona fide gospel choir).

No, they didn't - they had Queen *members*, but not *Queen.* 'Man from Manhattan' is not a Queen song, 'We Got Married' is not a Beatles + Pink Floyd song, 'Wrong' is not a PopLyfe + One Direction song.

Just saw a cover of "We are the Champions" made by Robbie Williams. I knew he recorded the song along with Brian and Roger for a movie, but wasn't aware he performed it live.
This one is a great version, back from 2001. It has the "Queen" feel to it, but then again, the guy is a massive Freddie fan.
