Backstage fight in Madrid, and "last" show in Marbella?

I read there was a backstage fight in the show in Madrid, in 1986, but i can't find any details. Was between the band members, and why? Or maybe some outsiders break in without permission?

Also, the last show of the Magic Tour was intended to be Marbella, before Knebworth was scheduled in the middle of the tour, a minor location and a relatively minor venue, a bit of a letdown, no? Queen usually pick good venues for their last shows of the tours. How that was programed that way?

I think Brian said in some documentary that Freddie said that he didn't want to tour anymore and they had an argument about it. I don't think he specified Marbella but talked about Spain in general.

It is a well known fact that Queen argued about a lot of things,Freddie and Brian often said they were leaving the band.They had many fall outs on what would be on the b side of singles for the money.What singles would be released from their albums.I do think that if Mr Bad Guy had been a world wide hit that Freddie would have left the band.However the band was always stronger than any individual.I would have been interested to see what would have happened if say Brian or John /Roger had left.Would they replace that member of the band ,like Deep Purple,Genesis orYes.Or would they all go separate ways?

If Freddie left first I'm sure Roger and Brian would go on, if not as Queen then as Smile for sure!

No they wouldve gone their seperate ways they had enough of each other it was 1986 there was a long break before The Miracle Album

I do find it strange that say John or Roger had left the band that Freddie,Brian and either John or Roger would not have got a new drummer or bass player.I can think of loads of bands who have carried on with new line ups. Led Zep did not however after losing John Bonham,but to be fair Led Zep were finished really anyway. There would have been a lot of pressure from fans and the record label.Please don't slag me of its only a thought.I have a bad day today I am recovering from an operation and have got an infection so I feel quite poorly,so I watched a lot of Queen on you tube and it made me very sad that Freddie is not still with us I think about him every day .Just think of all the great things he would have gone on to do.I met Freddie once just to have a quick chat with and it was unreal.The best day of my life was being at Knebworth and seeing the band give one of their best performances .Its sad how its turned out with Adam Lambert fronting the band,maybe I am wrong and the band could never be anything except Freddie,Brian,Roger and John after all !

We were discussing whether or not Queen would have broken up, just a couple of weeks ago in another thread (and that was about the 4th thread on that matter).

Thanks for the imput. I was wondering how the fight started, as i thought the "fighting phase" ended after the Live Aid. There were really so many internal issues during the Magic Tour?

Also, picking a shitty venue for the last show was mainly a management thing, no?
