ZOOM QUEEN REMASTERED
SOUND: Very good to excellent audience recording. Complete concert.
ORIGINAL LINEAGE: "Zoom Queen" 2LP > WAV > FLAC
This afternoon show is one of my favourites of the ANATO tour. Freddie's in fine voice and everyone's playing is excellent. I have EQ'd this to make it more punchy and bring out the treble as it was very bassy. I removed as much of the vinyl noise as possible, and trimmed out all stretches of silence at the start and end of each LP side. Despite it sounding it's age this is a very pleasant listen. All instruments shine through and the stereo separation during songs like the opera section of BoRhap, The Prophet's Song, and the finale to Liar is exquisite.
A Bit of Background:
Zoom Queen is not only the most rare and expensive Queen bootleg ever, its the most expensive bootleg ever!
200 copies were made in 1977. About 170 were seized and destroyed. This one is special: this is from a transfer of one of the ZOOM 2LP versions with the matrix number.
Once a bootleg company sold any version they burned or scratched out the matrix number. This is a truly mint copy of the ZOOM LP transfers digitally to cd. This is the rough transfer. So I hope you all enjoy this show.
Of course there were some rumours about a Zoom Queen reproduction. Well me and all other big time collectors have never ever seen a Zoom Queen 2LP pirate. A Zoom Queen pirate re-release would be a higher generation analog sample, with inferior sound. So the pirate Zooms will be sent to the rumour mill.
So until the orignal taper shares his original (great!) recordings things won't get any better than this!

Thanks for your efforts, but honestly, to my ears it's actually a bit worse. There's too much high end, and the wonderful analog booming bass is gone now, which I actually liked.
But good job on trimming the silences and cleaning up the vinyl surface noise.

I enjoyed that. Always staggers me how amazing the original Zoom sounds. Afternoon shows: no one is drunk yet = good performance :)

Honestly, this is exactly how you should hear this - worse. There is a price to pay for irresponsibly encouraging every living creature, just to prove your empathy. Which is authentic, i must admit.
As authentic as the quintessential question, "Does this website get a lot of traffic from non members?". Have you ever asked this question? I haven't, but there is a Picasso of audio mastering tormented by the vision of his masterpiece falling into the dirty hands of non members.

You sound like an semi articulate geriatric that has nothing to offer except a twisted opinion.

That's me. Geriatric and twisted. Slowly lost my mind while digging through layers of your digital shit to find something interesting. I mean you, the community of adobe users who hijacked this announce forum with a flood of before/after productions and the "look at me mama, I'm an artist too" attitude.
If there is a fan mix section, why not separate a fan remaster section? It will be easy for all of us.

Well, the thread IS headed REMASTER, so that might be a clue for you.
How about sharing something besides your moaning, you old fucker.
