Watching some of those interviews of Brian, Roger and Freddie during, I'm guessing, the "making of the Breakthrough" video, where was Freddie during those interviews??? Even in the background, for exp Johns interview. You saw Brian and Roger interrupting him, but you never saw Freddie. Was his condition at that stage, quite bad and being out in the cold was not the best idea, was it anything at all due to his condition why he wasn't interviewed or was he simply just not there at that time...?
You could see it on their faces on certain questions such as the reflecting on the past and the future that they were told or knew at that stage something was not 100%

I always thought he was hiding, and probably quite right too.

Freddie wasn't that keen on interviews at the best of times, ("Interview? Oh don't be ridiculous!! ") so to appear on camera and be interrogated at a time when he was starting to become very ill would have been out of the question. Even though he still looked fairly well, he would have to have been more guarded than ever at this point. I also think that by this time, it would have been a matter of get the video done, and get home asap.

If i'm not mistaken and if you look closely at the shoes Freddie wore, he is seen passing by John who is being interviewed. Roger is also walking by.

They found out part way through the Miracle sessions, so they definitely knew at that point.

The only bit were the four of them were in front of the camera during the making of Breakthru was when they received the gold discs.

Freddie understandably didn't want to answer the same bland questions that the others had to,they were given a briefing beforehand.Back then journalists were given a standard set of questions to ask,Freddie would have thought that as boring!

How long after the video was completed did that interview take place. I understood doing that video was really rough on Freddie as he just didn't feel well. Maybe he was resting or just didn't feel up to it?

Yeah, but interviews are part of the job description - every famous musician has to do them at some point.
Clearly there were other reasons that we all know about.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always been of the opinion that Freddie looked absolutely fantastic in this video. It's a shame he wasn't interviewed so that we could have some more footage of him in that look.

The whole band were having a lot of fun, and it showed.
