Oh look Queen are playing Hong Kong Expo Arena!

So pleased Caroline pointed that out!

Do you think you can stop Brian and Roger from playing? No, you can't. We do threads for the concerts. That's all. :p
The bad new is, we've lost our way. But the good news is, we're WAY ahead of schedule. :-)

No I don't, and wouldn't want to. In fact it's great they're doing these shows. But do we need a thread for each venue and dates that haven't been played yet.

Also a thread started by someone who then adds more and more without anyone replying is just boring.

Almost all the reports on the shows that have been posted by Caroline can easily be found elsewhere by those who are interested.

As for the dates, they're all over Queen on line anyway :)

^^seconded. it gives me a headache coming to this sub finding a string of "SweetCaroline" with just different dates. every time i have to resist the urge to just close the page. now it's getting better since some of the shows have actually been played and we got real contents in the threads, but i still don't get the need to create all those blanks ones upon the dates being announced.

well, i might have felt less annoyed if they were created by someone i like. say, inny :) even though i'm not on your side regarding this matter haha

Anyone is welcome to add whatever they want to the threads for the individual shows. I set them up for the convenience of anyone who doesn't post in the QOL forum. No one is forcing you to read them or post in them!

The point here is that you see a subject so you look at the thread and find it contains nothing of any great interest that isn't already available elsewhere

What other sites are you referring to?

Just as an example, you keep posting (re posting) what is available on BM's site.

Do they post the world clock performance times and audio stream web sites over there? That is what I am posting here for anyone who wants to listen/watch the performances live!

Not in this thread. You just put the concert date up, which we are all a warw of anyways

The thing is, if I want to find the date info of a show, I don't come here. I Google it. I come here to see discussion. It really confuses me when I open the forum to see so many threads. I click open a couple and find nothing to see inside. And I'm not sure whether to continue. That's what bothers me most.

You create a thread if you have something to say about the show, wouldn't that be better?

I mean, there's nothing wrong with creating threads for the shows. It's the timing. Maybe next time you could put all the tour dates in one thread, and I'm sure people would appreciate that info. And whenever someone has something to say about any particular show, they make a post. This way when people open the posts they wouldn't get annoyed that there's nothing worth reading in there. Just my opinion...

The reason for making separate threads for individual shows is so that people can post information for those specific shows -- videos, photos, reviews. If you have only one thread for 12 shows, it is not organized and becomes a big jumble. The dates are in the title of the thread, so wait until the day before, the day of, or the day after the show if it annoys you so much to open the thread and not see anything posted! Sheesh! LOLOLOL
