The guys aren't getting any younger. Too much is too much. He should take a long holiday and rest.

Just a word or two to say thanks so much for all your lovely words and wishes dear folks.

I got myself in a very depleted state and have taken the decision now to clear my diary of everything until the end of the year. I'm leaving today on a big steel bird to spend some time recharging in a safe place. Need to turn off the phones and media for a while.

Apologies to everyone involved in the things I will miss. I have to get away and prioritise healing - sometimes there is no choice.

He's pushing 70. He just needs to turn it back a notch. Everyone has that little wake up call in their latter years, and this is his.

This is probably his first solid rest in years

Huh? I am not a troll. When you'll understand it poor people

I guess Brian did too much. The massive tour this year and other activities. He's not the youngest anymore and will be 70 next year. He needs a well deserved rest and now he takes it. I hope he will recover.

At some point enough is enough. The guys have every right to retire. They maybe have one more tour left in them, but i doubt it.
We'll see. For now, Brian and Roger should take it easy.

Must have been burnout too on his part. Yeah, the Doc needs to kick it back a bit, get himself an early holiday. He needs and deserves it.

Sad to hear this. I wish Brian a speedy recovery. As said previously, it's probably the first break he has had in many years. I hope he returns, in his own time, happy and refreshed.
