Sorry if I ask: The wetransfer should be Simon Bates introducing. John peel is only in the picture. Correct?[/QUOTE]

YouTube is Simon Bates presenting on June 17th.
Wetransfer is John Peel presenting on July 1st.

Well, thank you for such an effort as always, but I have to tell you that WT features the same video from YT, with Simon Bates introducing. I can only see the snapshot with J.P.
...please take a look here.

Thank you very much!

I also uploaded to YouTube the full version of Roger's only solo appearance on TOTP. There are no logos or on screen graphics on this full version.

Any chance of uploading your WATC TOTP Video?

WATC looks to be the same as my copy from this thread:

Thanks for the uploads Kurgan, have you recorded any other TOTP appearances? Even playbacks of the standard promo videos would probably be an improvement over the DVD versions.

I have a few, but the BBC re-broadcasts are the ones I'm interested in doing something with at the moment.

I have this thing about on screen logos and graphics. I also have some 960 x 540 PAL mkv files of the 1982 appearances which have the BBC logo in the border area (see below). I was thinking they could be cut to 4:3, thus losing the logo, or perhaps even left as 16:9 but blacking out the logo entirely. What do you think?

I think it's possible to set cropping preferences on mkv files without re-encoding. Might not work in all players and the picture will still be there but will give essentially the same result.

You could even try using the low resolution source to mask the logo in the HD recording. If you shrink it back down to standard definition afterwards it could be almost unnoticeable.

Thanks for the info.
I tried a little experiment using Handbrake:
