I was never a Star Wars fan, but I always admired her as a person and as a professional. She gave joy to millions and that's more than most people can say. It's a shame she's gone so young.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

She's hilarious in Blue Brothers. :)

She was honest about her demons. She made no apologies and she maintained a sense of self and wit in ways that empowered and entertained. I so loved Carrie Fisher for her chutzpah and I truly feel gutted by her death.

I'm baffled that Carrie Fisher, (and even George Lucas) don't have a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. How about getting rid of Trump's, and replacing it with one that honors George Lucas and all the cast and crew that made Star Wars an enduring pop culture phenomenon that has been passed from one generation to the next.

I just watched her in her final role. It was in the UK comedy series "Catastrophe", which is very good. She was great in it, although she seemed to have a very nasal tone to her voice. There was a nice little tribute to her after the credits.

I happened to have her book "Wishful Drinking" in my shelf. It was a nice book to read. Really goes through her life with a certain self-deprecating humour.
