I recently came across this ticket stub photo, and what an interesting one it is !
Of course they weren't actually on the gig, as Brian May got ill and they had to go home. But had that tour with Mott The Hoople gone on, the last date would've been June 2 at The Mosque in Richmond, Virginia, and it looks like one or more dates were tagged onto the end of that.
Nazareth filled in for the Santa Monica date.
This is entirely news to me. Anyone else heard of non-Mott dates in 1974?
