It just goes to show that not many people could ever do a Freddie!

Gary Cherone's Hammer to Fall is completely re-recorded on the official release too....he was as flat as a nun's tit on the night!

I wonder, if there was a post-production work on the soundtrack of the show, why on earth Robert Plant didn't bother to re-recorded his vocals for 'Innuendo' but just simply vetoed this song for the official release.

Probably busy shitting his pants at the thought of it all. Some folks can, but I guess that that was not his perfect moment. Not wishing to start anything, but having seen Queen+AL, one can but appreciate Adam's ability to sing the shit out of this song. Listening to it, Brian had some iffy moments as well.

I remember Brian had to re-record the guitar solo of Somebody to love and many other flawless moments through that night...

You could forgive Brian the mistakes since it was his friend and bandmate that the show was for. He was probably more nervous and prone to mistakes because of that.

Yup. Just proof that people will complain about anything short of Brian and Roger performing a resurrection.

I maintain that Adam is the only male singer able to pull off this song in key. And he's done it every night.

Can one listen to the untouched recordings somewhere?

I can confirm Brian indeed had small problems with his solo of STL :)

I have FULL version of this concert in my native language (Polish) broadcasted on Polish TV at that time (20 April 1992).

Here is the link if anyone is interested (also I can help with some translation if you wish):

Did Paul Young ever work again after his performance that night?
