My wife and I are glad that Brian's spirits are up, and that they are touring again.

I am surprised that they are playing so many dates.

IF....and I say 'IF'....they were doing a handful of stadium shows, we would go. I have not missed a US tour since I saw them in Harrisburg in (gulp) '74.

We said our 'goodbyes' to Brian and Roger and Adam at MSG and Meriweather a few years ago. They will be in our neck of the woods, so to speak, in Brooklyn, DC, Philly...

As much as my wife would like to don her QII leather jacket, me to wear my 'Jazz' tour jacket........and see all our 'extended' family......we will not be seeing them. Besides, the Tigers will be in Baltimore around the same time, we're doing a trip to Michigan and Canada afterwards, so we are choosing 'us' over 'them'.

If the tix were twenty bucks a piece, we'd change our minds.........but this isn't the 70s

Brian notied in a press interview for this tour that it's the 40th anniversary of News Of The World and both mentioned a plan to deliver a new immersive experience with a different setlist. I'm wondering... because of Adam... maybe the return of Get Down Make Love? Spread Your Wings? (I hesitate so as not to jinx it... but... dare I suggest) It's Late? I'm GOING!!! CHI-CA-GO!!!

Agree It's not the glory days of Mercury, I was always against the Queen lambert tours, didn't go see them the last time they were in NY, but this is probably it for them, so i'll see how much the tickets are and decide if i'll go this time. Most rock fans think touring with an American Idol singer makes this whole thing a Joke, but Halford giving lambert a thumbs up is good enough for me, though personally I'm not a fan of him.

I'll be tailgaiting along Broad Street in the Wells Fargo Lot, under the trees. The grill will be cooking and the booze will be flowing! I may bring the generator so I can take a page from the Parrot Heads & make some blender drinks!

2014 was behind the Rainbow release. Hoping this year we'll be getting some type of 1977 release.

I doubt they will do many non hits, but I expect they will throw in one or two NOTW lesser known tracks, I bet Spread your wings

Yes, I really hope so too... seems a natural fit, doesn't it? But it may not... and the only way I'd be maybe even happier to hear that we wouldn't get one from 1977 would be to see one from 1975 or 1976 first! LOL (one can dream...) The quality of the last few releases has made me very happy - money well spent on some stunning performances.
