Who has a decent transfer of Sao Paulo from QTV?
Perhaps we can make a merge of some sort, I have a recording but it is not that great (sample link below).

Thank you.
I believe the one from Hernan Show ( ol' money ripper) is the best version around.

Trouble is all of his versions are NTSC with messed up sound and a cropped or trimmed picture. On top of that he adds filters which sometimes make things look even worse.

After checking QTV broadcast schedules, I can confirm this concert was shown in 1988, 1989, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000.
There should be plenty more PAL versions around.

This IS the best looking unofficial and available copy. Probably there's something better under the dust.

It's true, there must me more QTV recordings about, where are they hiding?

Like Kurgan, I took my recorder every year and from 2001 I put everything on DVD and circulated the lot.
Funny how they get lost over time and this isn't the first time in the last decade I've had this conversation here on QZ...
I'll upload some mpeg rips over the weekend and folks can judge for themselves.

Great idea, I went from 1986 - 2001 but didn't bother to keep re-recording the same stuff over and over.
In hindsight it may have been a good idea to, as some chalets had better reception than others.
Some of my tapes are also showing signs of wear now.

It was around 2001 that QTV began to suffer from picture interference and, like you, I slowed down what I recorded as it was all repeats.
I think I have Paris 79 with that interference, recorded on SVHS and also Hammy 79, which I edited into the correct order, replaced CLTCL with an alternate source as the fan clubs tape was damaged at that point and filled in a few bits with the audience recording.
My last edit of it was in 2009 - again circulated, but maybe it's time to re-circulate....
If Chief Mouse has a metod of removing the interference, that would be great!
