Well, I think it's great!
A new feel to the song, and it's still standing strong (of course :))

What's your opinion?

Utterly cringeworthy

To be honest, I do not like when someone covers their songs.

The video is cringeworthy Moog, but the cover itself is good.

Not bad, he sounds erringly similar to Freddie in places. He's looking a little chunky these days.

Really not a fan of the hat. Or the mashup.

But anyone who has an issue with the singing is just looking to be an asshole, ignore 'em.

It's really good. No point in doing an imitation as it will never be better than the original. This is bouncy and fun.

Love Marc's voice.
I always knew I was a star And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me-Freddie Mercury

I like it, I like it! Marc Martel is an amazing singer and songwriter. I like that he did not do a straight cover of the song and opted to put a different spin on it.

Much prefer to listen to him sing than Lambert. Luckily I'm never in that either/or situation - the originals still exist.

I actually think Marc´s version is pretty cool even though it can never ever match the original version

Yeah the great thing is the original is alive and well on the albums and concert footage.

My view of the Lambert/Martel thing is that I'd much rather listen to Freddie than a voice that sounds like him or a bit like him but isn't him.

As good as Marc Martel is, he isn't Freddie and therefore for me Brian, Roger and Lambert (not trying to sound like someone he isn't) is a better proposition then someone who is an imitator.

If I had the skill to paint a copy of a Gustav Klimt, I might be a artist,or operator of a paint brush, but I would lack the genius that went into achieving the original. . . .

The guy has a good voice, that's the only good thing I can say about this cover

I think Lambert has a technically better voice - Martell seems to be moving away from the FM style and sometimes sounds a bit strained?

I can imagine the simpletons who buy music making this a big hit. That's no slight on him.
