I just listend to Bohemian Rhapsodie from Hammy `75 and Earls Court `77 and noticed different pitches.
Did they really play it that way or is it just a mistake or something from the recording tape?

This are the recordings I have of both concerts. Left is Hammersmith and right is Earls Court.

I think it's just a different piano sound

Didn't Freddie get a different piano around that time?

The actual pitch is unaltered comparing both recordings.

Yeah. Before November 1977, he'd just use whatever was available, including a Wurly on at least one occasion.
For the famous Xmas Eve concert in '75, he rented the same white Bechstein he'd recorded the album with (and the same he'd used for the 'Bo Rhap' video).
At the Exhibition Centre he played a Steinway... but not the same Steinway he got later on...

Imagine all the times he had to carry that to a bus stop after a gig.
