Well Dustin, I'm an old gay man...maybe one of them would like to be my "Mary"
LMAO I love it!
Villiers,
I guess I had to let them feel the scar in my side and the nailing scars in my hands...Just kidding

Looks like you have a tattoo on your arm. Are you big into tattoos/ do have many? Freddie apparently wasnt interested in getting any on himself but according to Peter, he was interested in looking at them (in great detail) on fine men lol. My dad just got his first one at 67 years old! For his sister. Very sweet but he acted like a baby the whole time lolol
Hey Villiers,
Ha Ha, As a matter of fact I had the firebird tatoo recolored and in an attempt
to modernize, I added a red tribal pattern under it..I was in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
last March (I did not go to NY for once) and it happened to be Spring Break. All of
my friend Brandon's family lives in Florida and they treat me like one of the family
even though I haven't seen them in 15 years.Yes...I got drunk and had the old tat
rejuvenated. It was kinda fun..

Thor,
Thank you for everything you have shared with us, for taking the time answer so many questions, for keeping it real.
I have enjoyed reading every page of this thread and sharing it with my husband. I have been a Queen fan for two decades but he finally came around...lol.. So great when those you love get the magic of someone who has touched your life so deeply. I will always love Freddie even though I never met him.
WOW, you are gorgeous!

Hey flo90,
Well thank you but no so gorgeous nowadays. I am 62 years old.
I still have all my hair, but I stopped going to the gym at age 56 after
40 years. I said "enough is enough" I was not getting the same buzz
I used to. And therefore I am a little heavier than I ever wanted to be.
Oh well.

@Thor
Oh come on now. He sent me a photo he took of himself today and I can assure you, he still looks great. I stopped working out after child #2 (hes 4 now) and I still can't find the time to get to the gym but I can tell you, it sounds like you did a hell of a lot better than I ever did. 40 years. The longest I ever stayed with it was 7 years.

Better than me too. My thighs went to hell as soon as I started school. I graduated a few months ago and still can't drag myself to the gym. 40 years is still... 40 years more than I've done lol
@ Villiers
LOL
LOL
@ Thor
Men are like wine, they get better with age... 62 is the new 42
@The Squirrelly One
... it is an unwritten law that after having 2 children you are exempt from ever working out again...lol, I stopped after baby #1

Thor,
Thanks for the great pics....you look like a young Tab Hunter!
Flo,
Welcome! I too share some of these Queenzone conversations with my husband. He just know how much I love Freddie and I appreciate that. He knows when he starts the car after I have used it he is going to hear Queen music blaring. Sadly, I never saw Queen when Freddie was alive, so when I saw that Queen + Adam Lambert were touring this summer, I jumped at what I believed would be my last chance to see them. (well half of the group). We attended 2 concerts in a week! One was an hour from our house, the other about 6 hours! My husband likes Queen, but only went to the shows because of me.

Rainbow61,
Similar to me, I never saw them when Freddie was alive. We saw Queen and AL @ Hollywood Bowl this year, also thought it would be our last chance to see them live.

Flo90,
My concerts were in Montreal and at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. One of the moments I looked forward to the most was when Freddie appeared on the large screen. He still knows how to work a crowd.

Everything was fine in this thread until politics began to be talked about.I don't think that's good.
I'm not from USA and I don't care to read about this man(Trump), especially not on forum about Queen!
There is a subforum in the forum "personall" and I think it serves to talk about things that have nothing to do with the Queen.
And the discussion that Thor is not Thor...
Each of us has an opinion on everything that is written about this topic,as in all of the books and articles we read about Freddie, all of the documentaries we've watched.
I think the discussion about whether he really is is unnecessary.
I don't like the fact that the thread has turned into a discussion about politics and some personal things of members, but ok. if most of the members who are active in this thread want it to be so...
I apologize if my words were offended someone, but I said what I felt.
