Didn't like what I said? Tough shit. My opinion stands.
It's not what you say, it's the uncouth wat you say it......
My original comment wasn't a reply to you.
It seems you chose to take offence. I can't help you with that.

Easily yes.
The entire UK 2017 sold out in an hour or so.
NO PROBLEM they could fill stadiums in the UK at least
There is still MASSIVE affection for Queen here

For what its worth I've been a Queen fan since 1974 and was lucky enough to see them many times with John & Freddie.
As far as I'm concerned I'm going to see QUEEN in December I managed to get over the sad loss of Freddie and I respect John's decision to retire and disappear from the limelight. Brian & Roger don't need the money they do this because its what they enjoy and after seeing Adam grow into an excellent front man in the 5 gigs I've seen him play my belief is that Queen in 2017 is as valid as the Queen I first saw live at Bingley Hall in 1978.
I think Queen can easily do a UK stadium tour and I wouldn't be surprised if in 2018 they actually do 4 or 5 Stadium gigs.
For what its worth I also hope they record something I enjoyed The Cosmos Rocks but I think this Line Up could do a proper QUEEN record.
Sorry if many of you disagree with me but hey Opinions are like arseholes we all have one and that is mine........

I actually wouldn't want to see this incarnation of Queen doing a stadium tour, much prefer the arenas, but that isn't the question I guess. I don't think they could do a stadium tour compared to the Magic tour in the UK, there would be empty seats. I'd rather see an arena crammed than a 3/4 full stadium.
What I do think they will do is a 'Queen Farewell' type concert, probably at Wembley, in a similar vain to the Freddie Tribute, with guest singers etc. It could be an entirely different type of concert due to the changing make-up of the industry and the newer acts who cite Queen as an influence taking the stage.

Oh I'm sure they could do a tour on the scale of the Magic Tour in fact wasn't the 2016 tour in Europe etc very close to that sort of scale? In 1986 in the UK they played to around 400,000 people the first dates sold out quickly but Knebworth tickets were still available at least a week before because that's when I got mine. I don't like the tribute concert idea I was at the FM tribute concert it was amazing but a one off

Sorry but its Queen like Pink Floyd were Pink Floyd The Who were still The Who etc etc blah blah blah
To be honest though it doesn't really matter I'm in my late 50's and I'm just glad I can still see the bands I was going to see as a teenager some people just get so excited about these things ha ha.
I was also thinking about how this forum would have exploded when Hot space had been released had it been around obviously!!!!

If Paul and Ringo went on tour and called themselves The Beatles would you be like YEAH MAN THE BEATLES ARE BACK YEAAAAHHH!
Wouldn't really be The Beatles though would it, but If they billed themselves just as Paul & Ringo they probably wouldn't get as much press coverage or sell as many tickets. They haven't cashed in on the brand because they've got class. More than Brian and Roger anyway.

They are the only Beatles alive so it wouldn't bother me like I've said I'm glad I can still experience the band I first saw in 1978 at Stafford Bingley Hall and yes I've managed to deal with the fact Freddie has left us I last saw Freddie alive at Knebworth and I will always treasure those memories but now I'm able to go to a Queen show with my daughters and their partners 31 years later and they both like Adam and Queen so its real and its current to us.
If you don't like it that's fine I've no problem with that sit back watch your Wembley or Rainbow videos and live in the past, for me I prefer to live in the present lifes too short :-)

While the four of them were still alive, they broke up and took different paths.
Queen never broke up, and Freddie rushed to record as many songs as he could before he died to give his bandmates enough material to keep working. His family and most intimate friends do seem to support the band's decision to carry on (his mother even attended some Queen+ concerts).
Among the surviving members, there was never a decision to break up either. At some point John decided to retire, but he never tried to stop the other two from carrying on.
Two completely different cases (but I'd gladly pay to see Paul/Ringo concert as "Beatles", just like I did with both Queen+PR and Queen+AL!)

You can do what you like, of course, but don't fool yourself you're living in the present by going to see a karaoke nostalgia act.
And what is it with this 'living in the past' nonsense? Do you criticise people who go to museums for 'living in the past'? Or people who enjoy classical paintings? Or older movies?
It's about taste and quality, not time period.

Well said. Queen's music and Freddie's voice are timeless.

I can't believe some people get so excited about these things....
I visit museums and have lots of happy memories and want to make a lot more. The point I'm making is for me I am glad BM & RMT are still doing it and in my honest opinion doing it really well so I am able to share the experiences I had at Bingley Hall or Birmingham NEC through to Knebworth with my kids.
I know it will never be the same as the old days I'm not stupid but it is still fucking amazing and as someone who goes to around 50 different gigs a year Queen + AL is at least on a par with Muse and better than everything else around. I respect your opinion and like I said before opinions are like arseholes we all have one Ha Ha...
Vocal Harmony I get the impression if someone disagrees with you then you get really frustrated and you think its either your view or no view I hope I'm wrong because my experience of Queen fans is that they are a tolerant and diverse bunch who like a good debate but respect each other never the less. I've had 40 years experience of meeting fellow fans so I know what I'm talking about.
I'm just expressing my opinion not looking to annoy anyone :-)

Hi Rich Tea. I don't think I've ever expressed a view or opinion with that mind set. What did you base that on?
By the way I'm asking out of curiosity, not frustration!
