Hey guys. I'm a German Queen-fan since '87 and new here, but I've been reading this forum for years now. It's very informative and actually also very funny. I don't know if this has been discussed before but I thought I'd post this.

I've been watching a lot of Queen-documents the last couple of days and I noticed one comical thing.

Paul Gambaccini really loves to tell that story about how he saw Freddie in the nightclub Heaven and how Freddie told him how he doesn't care about the "new disease" and how Paul got a "sinking feeling". From YouTube I found the following quotes:

1.Days of our lives part 5, around 13.25
2.The Freddie Mercury story-Who wants to love forever, around 35.30
3.Story of Queen:Mercury Raising, around 49.50
4. When Freddie met Kenny, around 28.20
5. Freddie Mercury biography, around 1.50

There maybe more, those are just the ones I was watching this week. If I knew how, I would edit all of those into one video, because I would think it would be a very funny montage. I mean how many times has he told this story?

The same number of times that Freestone and Moran have told theirs. It's all wearing rather thin as time drags by........

Freestone is also repeating himself, but nobody does it quite like Gambaccini. The dramatic pauses and the dramatic voice.

Grizzly Adam: Sounds very good. I try to link them when I'm using a better wi-fi.

Gambaccini is a parasite.

I can't stand the cunt either.
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

I second that, but so is Freestone.
"He knew exactly what was going on. He knew that was his last performance, he could barely stand." Roger Taylor commenting on Freddie's last video appearance.

Perhaps he just really likes that song (MMB).
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

You could actually make something like a "remix" (I don't know how to name it), with each Gambaccini (the DOOL one, the SoQ one, etc.) telling a part of the story. That would be duckin' hilarous :'D
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

Perhaps it's always the same as it's the truth..just a thought

The story is propably true, but it's still pretty funny how there can't be a Queen/Freddie documentary without this dramatic story. There's just something that makes me laugh.

I actually think there could be many different scenarios for those remixes. It would be also funny if they would just follow each other. The same story over and over again. And always there's that "sinking Feeling".
