This isn't my work (all credit goes to DJGreg), but it deserves a new thread to bring attention to how excellent it is. This show may end up on the News Of The World box set later this year, so until then let's enjoy what is undoubtedly the best version of this show at the moment.
Here are his improvements that leave the old version in the dust:
-added reverb
-added a bit of compression
-slight hiss reduction
-EQ
The result is a recording that sounds about as good as an official release. And on this version there's an extra bit of banter before White Man that wasn't on most previous copies.
All I did was add breaks between the tracks (I think the original was just one long file, but the link is dead).
And maybe someone could torrent this !? This is definitely one of the very best sounding Queen live recordings, so it should make its rounds.

Thank you so much for all the warm words in my adress!
I would like to ask you about a favour - I'm searching the good source for my new remaster, it will be the Earl's Court 06.06.1977 gig, but it's a real problem to find the ORIGINAL VHS transfer, as:
Snivlle Remaster is too bad because of horrifying hiss reduction, SnowProducciones version isn't as bad, but I prefer to work with the untouched sound.

At a first glance i read " 1977" and "Houston" And thought OH MY GOD!!! they made the announcment finally!!!! but then i read the complete title.... Damn you Wizard!!
Great bootleg mate!! thanks for sharing, and i hope this gig is part of the boxet, if not, it wont be a proper news of the world anniversary release. I just hope they don't fuck up this time as they have been doing it for the last couple of years!

Just listening to it and the sound is really good.
DJGreg - for Earls Court, do you have the lossless frank39 recording? If is direct transfer of the Keep Dancing tape if I remember correctly

Thanks Bob & DJGreg.
This concert has always held a special place in my heart since I saw the concert video at a "Breakthru" (North American Queen convention) and was blown away.
I fondly recall 12 years ago when an mp3 version of this concert was given to me and I shared it on QZ (after I begged for someone to share it and even desperately indicated that I would pay $50 for it ...).
Now I have a better version, and I need not worry whether this concert will be included in the NotW box set (or heavily edited in the box set).
