Chief Mouse
Some of you may know that a DVD was released in 2012. Unfortunately it was in NTSC. So the lovely high definition restored film footage was downscaled to 640x480 and the frame rate was messed up with an NTSC conversion which of course introduced blended and duplicated frames.
I did the best I could to make them 25 fps by removing the dups and trying to undo some of the damage. As well as upscaling them to proper SD size. These uploads are for your convenience cos the DVD sucks and who wants to navigate inside a DVD to find a certain video anyway. Can't believe we got this treasure in such a subpar form. At least a PAL DVD would've been way better not to mention 4K (most likely) master files that they have.
Anyway, sorry for the rant.
Here's Ibiza performance -
Took a youtube rip of the 2012 edit of Barcelona. It is compressed beyond belief so I downscaled it to 720p and masked the compression some. It appears to have already been denoised prior to upload hence the flat areas look more flat than they should've been. And I made it slightly worse while getting rid of most of compression artifacts which can't be avoided unfortunately. Can you believe that they cut the 30 seconds of intro?
So for the sake of completeness (full intro) and 4:3 fullscreen, I also processed the DVD version of 2012 edit, same way as the Ibiza video.
So choose which one you prefer. Didn't bother with La Nit performance because that's a regular video tape footage with no big issues since it has an official release from a master tape. Nothing much to do with that one. Grab it from the DVD if you feel like it.
