Hey everyone, this is a project I've been working on for a bit and I'm wondering if anybody would be interested in it (I know someone is, you know who you are!) It's a best source merge of Tokorozawa 3/11/1982, but not just that. It is a colour re-grading (similar to Chief Mouse's re-grading of Montreal) of the concert. The source I'm using is a VHS copy that I have fixed the brightness/contrast levels and then fixed the colour levels to hopefully a more natural skin tone colours as for some reason, the footage is very green... The raw VHS can be downloaded here, if you so desire: http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=931565 The audio sources I've used is a mixture of the following... • 'Live In Japan' 1992 VHS • 'On Fire At The Bowl' 2002 DVD Extras (Disc 2) • 'Space Boogie' 2005 Audience Recording • 'News Of The World' & 'Hot Space' 2011 Remasters - Bonus EPs To give you an idea of the colour re-grading, here are some examples: Let me know what you think! :) -Chin

A lot of the source footage does have a slight green tint to it, and the hues are a bit off (Freddie's belt for example is a little more magenta than red). I respectfully feel the changes in the edited shots you've supplied seem to be a tad heavy-handed. Definitely in the right direction, but perhaps just dial it back a smidge. I love your work and dedication to making the most of the pieces of all these different Queen concerts, and this one surely looks to be a treat as well!

Thanks for the input, yeah as you mention it now I do notice the colour is a bit overdone in some areas so I'll fix that :)

I've had a look and I have multiple copies on VHS and they all have the same colour issue...

Looking great! But agree with Sue... some of the blacks look just a tad deep...

Sorry for the delay, but I've been having some real aneurysm inducing problems when the video finally exports. Some segments (mostly colour re-graded sequences) when the video cuts in, stays black for a few seconds missing out footage. I have also just to note, changed from the Laserdisc copy to a decent VHS copy. The Laserdisc version was quite visually noisy and had blended fields. You can download the raw VHS if you'd like from here: http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=931565 I think I have that problem solved now, also look at that rendering time... :) -Chin

MoviePlus? Maybe you'd get better render times with proper software.

Don't worry, it didn't take that long haha. Computers and estimated times never usually go together well. :P
