Amazon UK: NOTW box set will be 5 discs

I actually got on amazon and preordered it at £81.93! As soon as it was pre-ordered, I went back to look and see if there were any more details and it was up to £98.31! I was very fortunate!

You're a very brave man. £82 for drinks coasters and reproduction memorabilia - pop along to eBay to get originals and memorabilia that isn't folded or creased ;-)

I've just preordered at £98.31, and immediately had an email from Amazon saying that I can download and play the album now on their streaming...clearly it doesn't provide the rips of all the extra stuff, but it has given me immediate access to the 2011 remaster of NOTW, which may confirm that that IS one of the included discs.

I hope that's not the case.
I reckon Amazon are just giving you access to "the album", regardless of which remaster it is.

I think what Amazon has done is combine all listings for 'News Of The World' and added the available listed formats. That's my theory anyway, could be wrong, most likely the latter. -Chin

Looks like it - I suppose if anyone didn't happen to have NOTW already, they can listen to it free of charge for the next two and a half months by preordering the box set now then cancelling just before despatch!!

Worth remembering for any future reissues by any artist!!!
