Thanks to Mack Mantilla for giving me an idea to work on this. Special thanks to Christian Schonberger, a friend of mine who enhanced the audio. Thanks to Jordan / Chinwonder for helping me deal with a couple of sync issues we ran into. What was done: * Some colour correction * Reduced highlights (they were blown and still are, but now somewhat more tolerable) * Attempted to smooth out the pans. Using a tripod was a great idea but the pans weren't as nice so they're moderately stabilized. Sometimes a side of the black border goes into frame a little bit but that's a compromise so that I don't have to zoom the video in too much. * General clean up and slightly reduced colour bleeding The goal was to make it look and sound as close as possible to a pro recording shot from far away, like a TV news camera for example. Maybe it's more enjoyable overall this way. Comparsion - The audio jumps are on purpose to hear the difference. https://mega.nz/#!lbZ0zJ6Z!Yiw6x0IGN7SpP-nW38EECJy3jAgL3wS9ZyQ1zWlXk68 .

What size was the mpeg file you worked with?
Unless someone got hold of (what I was led to believe was the master tape) after I did the first transfer to DVD circa 2002/3 and did a new transfer themselves, you could have been working with a re-encoded mpg file....

My original encode is 01:41:10 long
The m2v file is 3,891,672 (3.71gb)
the ac3 is mono

... and thanks to the filmer, wherever you are. This is the best audience shot Queen video of the 80s by far.
