Hi all. I'm new here and need some tips regarding newly digitalized recordings from my friend. How can I transfer the files (flaq if I remember well) to make them available here on qz? Also, they are huge so is it possible to convert them into mp3 files so I can use my smaller capacity pendrive to transfer them before I put them here?

Hello and welcome to QueenZone! :)
From what I am reading, are you saying that you have the tapes digitized and you're not sure how to upload them or are you looking to have them digitized?
If you're not sure how to upload the FLAC files I can help you with that! :)

I have FLAC files and want to upload them here. Probably much more recordings to come (70's and 80's), he just need to transfer his collection properly.

Great first post here ! It's always a great day when we learn there are more tapes of Queen in the 70s.
Are you PC or Mac ?
If PC - the easiest way to do it is to put the FLAC files in a .zip or .rar file (done in Windows explorer), and then upload the file to wetransfer.com and post the link here.
If it's just 1 or 2 giant FLAC files, then skip the previous step and just upload each one to wetransfer.com.
Please don't convert them to mp3 - there is irreversible quality loss.
Good luck ! And we're here if you need any more help.

He said "newly digitalized" - so it looks like the most important part is done.

Here's more detailed instructions! :)
Ok, I am going to tell you how to package the files together and how to upload them onto here! :) Just follow these steps, I'll have some images below to help :)
1. Create a new folder and place all of the .flac files (or file) into it.
2. Right click on the folder and click on 'Send To...' and click on 'Compressed Folder'. You should now have the files within a folder with a .zip as the extension.
3. Next go onto http://wetransfer.com and click on the circle with the ... and make sure its set to a link. Then hit the blue 'Transfer' button.
4. Once the .zip file has finished uploading, click on the link displayed to copy it.
5. Share the link on this topic for the whole QueenZone community to rejoice over!
