Technical question: how can I recreate the dvd-video without reducing the video/audio quality?
I ask you because I have no reason to keep a MKV file sourced from a dvd that I can't play on my DVD player.

Luca, Source is DVD MPEG-2 stream, but it was encoded in different more modern video format after restoration. You can't author a DVD-V from this MKV because you need MPEG-2 format video stream to do it.

I will try to re-encode in a dvd double layer, I think I will have a lesser quality loss.
What is the best way to re-encode mkv files to dvd?

My BluRay is in progress... no quality loss with some nice titles, menue and specials added. Wait to add the documentary out of the forthcoming box set and than it goes online. Of course only via pm, because the dosco is official.

I'm wondering if Chief Mouse is going to make an updated version and include whistle blowing (before White Man Intro). Obviously taken from Rock The World documentary since it's not official :)

1. This is what I read a few times, that the only snippet missing from Houston was before White Man so this must be this one.
2. You can hear the whistle in this Chief's version at 58:29 but it's cut.
