But there's a minority of narrow minded Queen fans who will say slanderous things about people who don't like Queen.

The same breed of people who unequivocally call Rolling Stone a rag for the same reason.

Rolling stone IS a rag. Although it IS modern. So i guess I've just become "old"

It's hardly about music though. Either that or i disparage the "artists" featured.

I DO read the stories in it however. Got a free subscription with concert ticket purchases. Otherwise.....a total trash "scene" for this fella.

Gambaccini is what you call a "Music media personality" like it or not, he's often interviewed for quips due to his old proximity.

I can imagine if the STORY about John Deacon disparaging the Robbie Williams WATC , were repeated in every Queen audio/visual narrative, then he'd get a bad rap as well.

I seem to recall Paul Gambaccini being a fan of Queen and especially Freddie. In all his interviews, I've never heard him say a bad word about anyone in the band.
