I've opened a discussion on wiki and I'll try to add the album to the page.
Isn't there some charity volunteer work you could use instead? You know, to actually contribute to society?
you're posting on a Queen Forum... we're all in the same boat. Except you. You're being dickish about it.

I agree with the poster : Flash is a much more memorable/enjoyable experience.
It took me years and the eventual release of a quality transfer to appreciate the film more than the album as well.....bizarrely so because all the sound is in the film.
I think Ornella Muti and the subtlety of Max Von Sydow make it much more appreciable in HD as on a big screen (theatrical revivals it occasionally gets)
JAZZ still suffers from plot gaps and pitiful production (in THIS poster's opinion)
In only Seven Days is a nice concept, alliteration at its best if it works...
m but when it doesn't. ...it just rambles.
And then. ...
and then. ..
and then. ...!
;-)
Never would've made the cut on any album before it. It makes Loser in the End look magnificent.
That said. Bad production and filler.
More of that. ..
IOSD
mustapha (MIX sounds so bad it might as well be cut)
Jealousy ....wouldn't have made any prior album....maybe change the title to someone's name (*c'mon, it'd STILL make sense! )
Instead of Genevieve
For Fred it'd be. ...err..
GREGORY you tripped me up
GREGORY you brought me down
:-)
(Shit, i didn't even GET to "Fun it"...piece of crap. Without Roger's voice it's really their first disco venture and absolutely generic)

I'd take Hot Space over any of the Jazz album tracks any day (the singles are perfect).
To my ears, the sound is off, the flow sucks and it's got a few stinkers.
Most ideas in there were better executed in other albums - there's better rockers than Dead on time; Need your loving tonight trumps If you can't beat them, as You & I does the same with In only seven days. Leaving home evokes the magic of Some Day One Day but (IMO) falls short. May have worked better as a tighter 10-track album a la Races or The Game.
Also... Flash is quite an experience from beginning to end. I revisit it more often than A Kind of Magic, The Miracle or any of the live albums.

I don't think that because something is preferred to another thing, it should mean it's 'official'. Yes of course it's an official album, but not on these terms.
I think Mr Plinkett's star wars reviews should be included on the official DVDs because they're brilliant.

^ haha. Plinkett!
God. Those things cheer me up when I'm down. I'll check on them at work sometimes and bust up so much I'll have to turn them off
The reason it's not listed is cause someone probably fucked up. Likely no issue.

I rank Flash above The Works and Jazz (marginally). In terms of albums, of course. Obviously, the quality of many of the songs on both Works and Jazz far surpass anything on Flash. But as an album to listen to from first song to last - Flash beats em both. I do not skip one song on that album. There is no filler. (Works = Tear It Up, Man On The Prowl, Machines, Keep Passing The Open Windows) (Jazz = In Only Seven Days, Leaving Home, Fun It, More of That Jazz)
and yes - i prefer Hot Space over Flash. it's a respite in the Queen catalogue. Staying Power, Dancer, Back Chat, pretty much everything except for Cool Cat - i never get tired of Hot Space.
Dancer over In Only Seven Days ?
Wow..

Yes I agree with you very much indeed

Though it is an album by Queen, it's not our new studio album.

It's a soundtrack album, sure. But I don't see how it's not a studio album.

It's an album and it was made in the studio, so it qualifies in my book. But, if anyone else disagrees, they're entitled to, especially when (at least) one of the people who actually made it seemed to agree with that at least at some point.

I totally get what he means in that quote but trying to define it is tricky.
Fuck mooovies!

it is a studio soundtrack album but a studio album nonetheless.
