It has no provenance apart from "a friend of a friend" .
it has a Fender logo when of course the guitar in the video is a Satellite cheapo copy (the decal was changed at some point allegedly)
The satellite brand were the cheapest of the cheap .
as I remember they were sold via catalogues and shops like Argos.
Some of the Satellites were better than others,you could actually play them.

Before anyone rushes to buy this, they were £60 or so new, so don't waste your money, even if it is the one used in the video, Brian certainly didn't OWN it, they would have bought it for the video, he threw it across the room then never saw it again, I suspect he gave it to someone right after the shoot, in fact I doubt he even knew what happend to it, a roadie probably walked off with it, they certainly didn't need to pack it up and ship it to Brian's house.
