"Hammer to Fall"

It's mostly because i really dislike the song.
Something about it is really irritating to me. Don't think I've ever managed to listened to it from start to end.
Nothing really matters in the end.

The thing that bugged me most about the invisible man was the bar that keeps reappearing at the end when the kids movements are looped.
This has to be the most miniscule thing I've ever noticed in a video, and I'm so glad someone has noticed it too.

^ yeah. I don't like it much either, sounds forced and artificial *(the style of it)

But i truly truly truly loved the version Brian did for Q+PR.... that was great. Somehow i think his sincerity came through making it worlds and worlds better. ...

I think it's the artificial bombast. ...80's drums.
...that really ruins it for me; because its such a brilliant lyric.
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"

The One that never compelled me to go have another look is "Play The Game"
yeah, even in the 1980s the video looked dated.

The worst, music videos:It's my black list:'Miracle' and 'Invisibe man'.I hate them!
I always thought The Invisible Man was really cheap looking and dated for 1989 even.
Totally agree. It looks too childish for a band of such a caliber. Freddie and other makin too many pompous and silly looking movements and gestures.

Play the Game and Kind of Magic are pretty average too (except the CG-effects and "hobo" make-up in latter, they are quite funny!)

I like the video for It's a Hard Life. I never see the problem with it.

As for their worst, it has to be a toss up between Back Chat and The Miracle.

Under Pressure

And all those Made In Heaven ones.

It's worth arguing that The Invisible Man song is not quite serious in the first place. As a 12 year old in 1989 I thought it (like the equally naff Breakthru video) was sweeeeeeeeet.

dysan, the lyrics of T.I.M. quite funny and inventive...i think nobody could blame this song for the lack of resourcefulness.
But one can blame the video...
I think this one shows the band just relaxing and playing fools not trying to create a marketing product. Kinda video made for themselves, not for listeners/watchers.

I disagree - the video was aimed straight at the summer holiday kids TV and was shown quite a lot. They even had a competition to win the sunglasses Freddie wore in the video. they pushed the video.

I have never got over the disappointment of not winning them (
