RSD Black Friday - We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You (12'')

It will be released a new 12'' containing We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You for RSD this autumn.

What can we expect?

The way I read message on the RSD website I think it's this:

- the regular album tracks (2011 remaster)
- Updated artwork. Possibly some modern variation of the Robot.
-ltd to 7500 copies. Wich is quite a lot for a RSD release.

I wouldn't hope for numbered editions / coloured vinyl / special versions of the songs etc etc.

7500 copies! Wow. 2000 isn't even that limited in reality. People go on about the rise of vinyl, but in terms of number of units sold it's a drop in the ocean. Record companies love it because of the massive markup - they can do this because joe public is dumb and thinks they're buying some kind of collectable, most copies are never played.

Seems to be the new analogue mix instead of the 2011 one.

That artwork is unbelievably fowl

That 2017 robot looks ugly as hell. The RT RSD 10" has some unbelievably ugly artwork/typography as well.

It’s not a new “mix”, just an fully analogue transfer from the original master. (As per the LP) in the upcoming box set.
