Yes, they should sing different songs at every new venue they go to. It certainly doesn’t matter that their crack sound, lighting, stage crew have it down to a precise and perfect science how the show is run so that it fits in a certain timeframe! Just throw that away and do something different so the morons on a website can be satisfied!
For me, sweetcaroline, it's the MUSIC that matters MORE than any light show, effect.
Don't call people on a website morons when YOU couldn't admit or even realize when AL messed up Bohemian Rhapsody.
Ok Kuipy,
Infantile ramblings such as: "PLEASEEEE BRIAN, READ MY MESSAGE!! ADAM I WANT TO KISS YOUR ASS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE." are bad enough. Don't for one minute think Brian would venture onto Queenzone. Maybe you should look to the Brittany Spears fan club instead as a model of effective inter-fan communication.
I have listened to every available audio stream and watched every available periscope of this fabulous show and never once been bored! The six guys putting on this show and their crew are magnificent and professional in every way and should be appreciated and not criticized!
Shame on the people who think THEY are the experts!
Seems like once again, sweetcaroline, you want and need nothing but praise only and you can't handle other pov's.

I don't think anyone is hoping that they play different songs at every venue. There are bands out there that do that, that has never been something Queen have done. But what they could do is drop a good third of what they play and replace it with little played or never played songs.
What about NOTW, the album the tour is meant to be based on. Opening chorus and the encore, songs that are always played, then one song not played in its entirety, really taking chances, being dangerous and playing to the fan base!
The first US tour with AL was in many ways more exciting than what we're getting now, as it re introduced some old songs that hadn't been played since the 80's or before and even a song that had never been played.
I'm a huge fan, but I have no trouble in admitting disappointment in the setlist after they promised so much.
As for your comment about sound, lighting stage crew. You have no idea what your talking about. Yes there are set pieces in the show, but a good sound or lighting guy could and often does have to work on the fly and get it right. They could easily add a new song tonight and the crew could easily cope
Yes, but to cover the extensive Queen catalogue and all of the songs that fans want to hear, they would need a different set list for each venue which is impossible.
I saw them in Ohio on July 21st and I thought I would be upset if they didn’t include IL and SYW from the NOTW album but I wasn’t because what they did do was so FABULOUS that you are left in awe of their incredible talent and expertise! Icy, et al can bitch and bitch and bitch until the cows come home but if they were physically there, they would agree about how wonderful this show is no matter what songs they perform! You get caught up in the experience and atmosphere and it is magically overwhelming!

AL is perfect singing ... or interpreting ... the queen catalogue as BM and RT wish it to be.... secure... most easy to play... because they have done a hundreds of times... but what about a "tenement funster" (like they did with the foo's drummer ?) ... what about a "ride the wild wind" as done by RT on his solo tours... what about a headlong (by brian on his solo efforts) ... what about a REALLY effectful "WWRY" dond by RT in '98 ? two drums... enhancing it... ? maybe combined with the "hard" version". same old... same old...
now. my point is... they have a most talented vocalist... they have proven to enhance their repertoire by arranging it to the stage... WHY not DOING IT right now ? it my or shall be they're last tour (before their LAST tour of course)... WHY ... ALWAYS "same old, same old" ? why not sticking into SYW and IL... until it sounds perfect ... why not presenting a "sleeping on the sidewalk" ? it istn't THAT hard to play, is it ?
why NOT a "miracle" or "innuendo" ?
Al would be surely able to sing those songs. but their (imho. ... false...) intension is to give people what they long for. NOT an intension freddie would have liked. IS IT. ? correct me if i stand wrong.

You're either a masterful creation or a cunt.
You're not a Queen fan, why are you here?

You weren't disappointed because you'd never even heard the songs.
Much better you Glamberts have a sing along to Radio Ga Ga eh?
LOTV, I’ve heard these songs plenty of times and am looking forward to hearing them for the rest of this tour. As I posted previously, I have listened to the audios and periscopes and watched the videos for all of the QAL shows they have performed the past 5 shows so I have heard them perform Now I’m Here, Days Of Our Lives, 39, A Kind Of Magic, Dragon Attack, The Show Must Go On, Save Me, In The Lap Of The Gods, The Seven Seas Of Rhye, I Was Born To Love You, and It’s Late and Spread Your Wings. They cannot humanly incorporate all of those songs in one show to satisfy everyone so they have to make a choice as to what works best for them. How wonderful it is that they have such a varied repertoire to choose from! And, yes, there are many more that have not been done with this collaboration. I guess they will just have to live forever !!!!!
Here is the cool unofficial fan-made poster for the Bologna show:

Oops I don’t know how to edit my posts. I
meant to say that I’ve heard these songs over and over the past 5 YEARS — not just the past 5 “shows.”
Hang yourself up, it would make everybody happy
It’s pretty complicated:
