people... the issue here is she took a picture of Brian. Brian didn't like the fact that the photo that he didn't give her credit for that led to the takedown of his account was in fact a photo of him.
has it been a picture of a smeared turd on a window - i agree... Brian must be losing it... but he was pissed that someone took down HIS account for not crediting a photo taken of HIM. He is the subject of the photo. So he feels that while he may have forgotten to credit - it's still a f**kin photo of him.
He is not senile. He was pissed for having to figure shit out that he shouldn't have to learn to figure out... at any age.
I agree with Brian's comments... and I enjoyed his line about "logic", made me laugh. he was careful not to use a threat. very diplomatic.

Good on him. It was a fucken photo of himself for crying out loud! He admits he forgot to give credit which is something he always does on photos. It could of been handled so much better by her.

I'm in no sense a 'fanboy' but i totally agree with Brian here...
She's lucky enough to have been able to take a photo at one of his gigs without the stewards getting arsey.
I'm not saying Brian dealt with the matter in a Jesus-esque way....but i can totally relate to that human frustration of being hard done by. Being an ebay seller it can happen quite often.
You'll find a lot worse examples of celebrities acting like bad people. I personally don't think this is one.

Social media seems to have undermined people's sense of proportion. It's absolutely clear he shouldn't have named her. It was petty and could potentially have some serious consequences for her.

I'm with Brian on this. She should have contacted him to sort the lack of credit, which he would have done, he always has in the past.
She took action against him which was unnecessary. It's not as if he used the photo in a book and was making anything out of it. Had I taken a photo at a gig which a band member deemed good enough to use online I'd be pleased with the fact.
The argument that she shouldn't be named is redundant, it was her who kicked up the fuss about not having a credit, which ever way you look at it she got her name mentioned, it would have been easier on all concerned if she'd sorted the problem with Brisn instead of running to the headmaster.

No it's not redundant at all. She didn't go public: he outed her. Only one side of the story (Brian's) is available: she is probably keeping a very low profile now given that he named her publicly.

I can't speak for other countries copyright laws, but in the USA, the person who takes the photograph owns the copyright. I used to work in the electronics department of a Kmart where they had one of those picture reproduction machines and we had to constantly tell people that they couldn't reprint certain photos without consent from the owner (school photos, photos taken at photography studios, etc.) even if it's a picture of them.
So, this woman had every right to put that copyright on that photo. Yeah, if she didn't contact Brian first and ask for a photo credit. But maybe she did and he missed it. But whether she did or not, Brian's reaction is completely uncalled for. I lost some respect for him after reading that.

I understand that Brian can be upset because his Instagram account was locked (which is a disproportionate measure considering they could just have locked the copyrighted picture), but I think he's being way too harsh on that woman because of it. He's a celebrity, a millionaire and a very busy person - why should he care about a picture to the extent of semi-threatening a fan? I think he should be furious about Instagram's policies rather than taking action on an individual like that.

I'm hoping he hires six good strong men to go around and sort her the fuck out!

What Brian did is absolutely ridiculous. Way out of proportion. And potentially very harming to the woman, to name and shame her like this.
The woman in question had every right to stand up for her copyright. And he knows it. His behaviour is totally unacceptable.
His arguments are even more pathetic. Took 45 mins of his precious time. Boo-hoo-hoo. Get over yourself arrogant rude twat.
